Senior Data Engineer

🚀 We're on the lookout for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dedicated Data Team, driven to deliver precise, dependable, and scalable data solutions. As part of this team, you'll lead the creation of a robust, adaptable data platform architecture and scalable data pipelines. Your pivotal role is to spearhead the design and implementation of a future-ready data infrastructure. Ready to redefine the future of data with us? 

United Cloud, the innovation center of the United Group, crafts world-class products for telecoms and media. With 350 tech professionals handling 13 end-to-end products across the CEE region and globally, our flagship TV 2.0 platform, known as EON TV, is available at the market of over 40 million people. Additionally, our web platform hosts most readable news portals like Forbes, N1, Nova.rs, Sportklub, delivering exclusive content to over 7.5 million users. 

🔎 What we're looking for:  

• Master of SQL and data modelling.  
• Has an in-depth understanding of data platform components.  
• Experience with on-prem as well as cloud technologies. 
• Experience working in agile environment. 
• Experience with Kafka.
• Experience working with Big data ingestion and processing to ensure real-time data & analytics.
• Willing to share their knowledge.  
• Open to share their opinion and challenge the status quo.   
• Has a “we can always optimize things” and always learning mentality.  
• Experience with the technologies below

💻 Your Responsibilities:  

• Defining a scalable and resilient data platform architecture, which includes executing PoC  
• Creating and maintaining complex and scalable data pipelines; from ingestion to processing and distribution of datasets 
• Continuously developing and following best practices for Data Engineering.  
• Constant improvement in data quality  
• Executing Proof of Concepts, picking the right tool for the job, and implementing it.   
• Integration of various systems and data resources in an efficient way.
